On February 1, 2025, President Donald Trump signed executive orders imposing new tariffs on imports from Canada, effective February 4, 2025. These tariffs are primarily calculated based on where the product is manufactured rather than where the product is being fulfilled from.Tariffs on Canada are applied based on the country of origin, meaning they apply to goods that are manufactured or substantially transformed in Canada before being imported into the United States.
